Nesbitt Family Christmas!!

It's always a bundle of fun at the Nesbitt Family Christmas party!! This year, we had our annual festivities over at Aunt Leslie's house!! This has been a difficult year for Aunt Les as she has been diagnosed with cancer, but thus far, she has definitely shown the cancer who's boss!!! :) We are blessed to celebrate her this year, and celebrate each other in good ol' fashion Nesbit-style!! Enjoy our fun-ness:
Uncle Rob is always happy-happy-happy with the littles....
 Lovin' on the babes:
And it was soon time for the "Reindeer Games" to begin. Thanks to Aunt Kristi, we always have a jolly good time!! We were divided into family-teams this year, and our first challenge was to turn Paw-Paw into a snowman.....a Mexican snowman. Challenge accepted!!!
 Our finished product!! Olé!!!!
All of the snowmen. What a goofy-lookin' bunch!! But soooooo much fun!! Uncle Rob's team winded up winning this round.
Meanwhile, Clairy had her own game of coloring my pants. Considering this, and the fact that I split my best pair of jeans at school on Friday, I sure hope Santa brings me some new denim this year!! :)
Back to the Reindeer Games.....this one was for the great grandkids. Lily winded up winning which scored ANOTHER point for Uncle Rob's team. Geez!!!
The final game was for the grandkids. In this Rudolf-game, they had to apply vaseline to their noses and attempt to get a red ball to stick to it by flailing it in the air with a string. It was quite amusing to say the least. Josh applied some serious vaseline. He was determined to win this one for our team!!
 And they're OFF!!!
After about 5 minutes of sheer entertainment of the Nesbitt bunch giving themselves whip-lash over and over and over, Rebekah finally got her's to stick, which scored YET ANOTHER point for Uncle Rob's team!!! Lame!!
While Robby's family dominated, our family came in dead-last with ZERO points!! Paw-Paw immediately threw his hands in the air and began chanting victoriously, "We suck!! We suck!!" He was awarded the loser-award.....antlers and a nose that attach to your car (I actually thought that was a pretty sweet gift!!)
We are truly proud to suck so badly!!! :)
 Finally, it was gift-swap time!!!
As always, we missed Grandmother and her telling of "The Night Before Christmas," but her love and presence is always near. I'll leave you with a sentiment of her's that we will cherish forever.....
 I know Grandmother is happy.

While some things change, the love of our family never does.

We are still as loving and as goofy as ever. :)
