Last weekend, Nora and Ella had their Christmas Dance Recitals!! This was extra-special for Ella, because it was her first "big" performance!! While she was very nervous, she did an EXCELLENT job!!
Of course, when we arrived, Claira snoozed. Such a sweet and lazy girl...
The "fan" section!! (Claira is still snoozin'!!!)
Two of the biggest fans.....the grandmothers!! :)
Finally, Claira decided to wake up just before the show started.....
.....and Daddy made sure she knew where to look. :)
Ella's group was one of the first to perform. Backstage, my friend "Mrs. Emily" (Isabella's mommy) was helping out with the girls. She told me that Ella had a bit of a meltdown, but she was able to get it together and stop crying before the show began. We were very proud of her for being such a big girl!! Thanks so Mrs. Emily for taking care of my girl!! Enjoy some pictures of our tiny dancer performing "Candy-Cane Jane:"
(Ella and Isabella)
All happy now!!!
Such beautiful little ballerinas:
Galloping off the stage:
A few performances later, it was Nora's turn. No tears from this one!! She's our little ham who was born to dance!! Her group performed "We are Santa's Elves." :)
Grand finale!!
The grandparents delivered our girls some beautiful roses after the show:
Such the dancing divas..... :)
And like most performances, we ventured over to Longhorn's afterwards :)
Ella barfed on our couch later.....I don't know if it was the Longhorn's our her stage-fright finally catching up with her. Regardless, I was ONE PROUD MOMMY!! Definitely a day I won't forget. Our tiny dancers never disappoint!!
Cheers to elves and candy-canes!!! :)
