Renaissance Festival!!

Last weekend, we headed over to the Renaissance Festival. We've been dying to go for the past couple of years - haven't been since Nora was a baby, so we were well overdue for some medieval fun!!
They BEGGED to do the tower-slide!!
The best photo-ops:
The hottest Mona you ever did see:

It always has the neatest shows!!
Doing a little medieval ziplining:
Nora and Claira riding the barrel ride. Clairy is such the little daredevil:
Playing a few drums.....
....and riding a few CAMELS!!! Check that one off the bucket list!!
The spinning swings!!! They almost made Bobby puke. For real.
Recouping for a minute to ensure that Ella doesn't vom.
Checking out the jousting :)
And, checking out the rescued birds. This little guy had lived such a stressful life that he plucked his own feathers out :( So glad that he'd been rescued!!
Such neat creatures....
Diggin' all of the knights....
....and the puppet showcase. The girls were excited to see some of their favorite characters :)
Finding some shade to have some lunch: Turkey melts and fried green maters!!
Finishing up with a visit from the tree man!!
We loved all the medieval fun!!

Cheers to knights, and rides that make us puke!! :)

Another Tooth Update!!

Nora has become a tooth-pulling machine!! If she feels that a tooth is just a LITTLE bit loose, she rips it out of there!! I guess she enjoys the fairy money??

She lost tooth #14 on April 16 (Mammie's birthday).
And she lost tooth #15 during math class on May 3rd. I'm sure she was paying full attention to her math instruction. :)
Quick recap of her previous 13:
Only 5 more to go!! So bittersweet!!

Cheers to more toothless smiles :)

Atlantic Station!!

A few weeks ago, I won some free movie tickets to watch Ratchet & Clank at the Atlantic Station cinemas, so we decided to make a day of it!! It was such a nice theater!!
 Reclining rocking chairs!! Yes, please!!
The movie was swell. The girls loved it!!
After the movie, we walked up to check out the Bodies exhibit:
I'm not sure if we were supposed to take pictures on the inside of the exhibit, but we accidentally took some anyway.
Nora was grossed out the entire time.
I guess I didn't realize how "revealing" the bodies would be. Just genitalia EVERYWHERE!! Claira was running around playing a game called "Find All the Wieners." #truestory
Selfie.
In the gift shop, Daddy found a big ear like Pee-Wee. What?!? WHAT?!?!
On the way out of Atlantic Station, we had an impromptu visit over to Georgia Tech for their Spring game:
Yeah. There was noboby there. Nobody. But we still supported our team!!
 Selfie with Ramblin' Wreck.
FLASHBACK - Tech had a really sucky season last fall, but we're Jackets through and through!!
Once we left Atlanta, we headed over to celebrate Uncle Matt's birthday. He got strep throat for his birthday - best gift ever!! But still fun times all around. Here's Uncle Matt and Daddy a few years back:
Happy birthday, bro!!!

Cheers to free movies, weiner hunts, and strep birthdays!!
