When we got there on Wednesday evening, the sunset was pretty amazing, so we put on our jackets and ran outside to play before it got too dark...
As you can tell by Clairy's nose, it started getting a little chilly...
.....and she soon started getting tired....
So, we headed out to get our first grub of the trip at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville!! It has the coolest atmosphere....you feel like you're outside on a boat. :)
Here's the neato airplane on the ceiling that has a huge salt-shaker emerge from it when Jimmy's "Margaritaville" song starts playing. :)
And while Margaritaville is fun for adults (obviously), there's also plenty for the kids to do. :)
BUT, all the hoop-lah at the restaurant was just too much for Clairy.....she was OUT...right in her highchair!!
The next day was quite lovely, so we spent the majority of the day on the beach...
The next day was quite lovely, so we spent the majority of the day on the beach...
And as always, a good portion of the beach time was spent dancing and turning cartwheels. It's an epidemic, really.
Clairy hung out for a bit....
But before too long, she was out again. :)
That evening, we headed on over to Captain Anderson's, one of our FAVORITE restaurants of all time. It is equivalent to seafood HEAVEN. Here we are posed in front of the large propeller in front of the restaurant....Claira's face is phenomenal. This her one of her new "smiles." :)
Since Josh decided to avoid all sunscreen (like a dummy), he sported a dynamite sunglasses tan for the rest of the trip. :)
After Captain Anderson's, we headed over to Pier Park for some ice cream and treats. Sadly, we did this every night (not too healthy....but well worth it). Josh is addicted to ice cream, while I'm addicted to anything chocolate. :(
Pier Park is so neat.....it has a million things to do, so we ventured over there quite often.
Here's a little video of the girls breaking down in Pier Park after an ice-cream run. :)
The following day, the weather STUNK. The only time it didn't rain was early in the morning, so we made ourselves somewhat presentable, and headed out early to take some family photos. They turned out pretty cute, despite the yucky weather....
Then, we headed on over the All American Diner for breakfast where we ran into Elvis and Marilyn...
After breakfast, it wasn't raining too hard yet, so we suited up and headed to the pool and hot-tub for a bit. Here's Clairy sportin' a bathing suit for the very first time.... :)
Since it was raining, we were the ONLY ones at the pool for a while....it was nice to have it all to ourselves. :)
Still, it didn't take long for the storms to come.....and they lasted ALL.DAY.LONG. So, we went inside and took a nap. :)
That evening, we went and got dinner....we opted for Pizza and SpongeBob. :)
And since the weather was so yucky, we spent the rest of the night shopping and goofing off in some of the beach shops.
(Here I am practicing my moon-walking skills)
Our final day, the weather was much better, so we spent our morning on the beach..
Of course, when we went to leave the next morning, the weather was absolutely GORGEOUS...
.....but that's okay....we'll be back very soon!!

Since Clairy turned 8 months old on this day (Friday, 2-22-13), we practiced chewing, and shaking our head "yes." :)

But since our big girls are little FISH, we spent the rest of the day at the pool...
This was Claira's very first time in a pool....she absolutely LOVED it!!!
We spent our last night eating Mexican food....our all-time favorite. My favorite part is that now when we go to Mexican restaurants, Nora and Ella speak to the waiters in Spanish. Here they are having a little "Spanish conversation." :)Of course, when we went to leave the next morning, the weather was absolutely GORGEOUS...
.....but that's okay....we'll be back very soon!!
Nothing in this world like a little family time at the beach.
Cheers to sand, sun, and FUN (even in Februrary!) :)
