While in Chattanooga to see Thomas the Train and the Tennessee Aquarium (see last two posts), we decided to go ahead and "make a weekend of it!" We spent the night in Chattanooga to have a few more adventures, and it worked out perfectly since Sunday was Mother's Day. There is nothing sweeter than waking up by these sweet monkeys on Mother's Day:
It just so happened that Ella lost her 3rd tooth shortly after waking up in the hotel - her first top snaggle!! Isn't she the cutest thing??
We decided to go and explore Ruby Falls. So MUCH FUN!! We loved going through the caves, and we had the best tour guide EVER - he was hilarious!!
Touching everything they could get their hands on:
Steak and Potatoes:
Finally, we made it to the waterfall. Amazing:
The big girls were just so sweet. They would lean on each other and hug each other while they watched the waterfall and lightshow. The lights and music must've put them in a lovey-mood :)
After leaving the cave, we climbed on top of the mountain to play on the playground for a bit:
STATIC HAIR!!
On top of the mountain:
My sweetnesses - they made Mother's Day, and EVERYDAY, so very special.
I am one blessed Mama, that's for sure!! And I should add that Clairy kept calling Ruby Falls "Rufy Balls" which just added to the hilarity and sweetness of the whole day. Pure awesome. :)Cheers to mothers everywhere!! (Especially my own - Love you, Mama!!) :) :) :)
