After leaving Thomas the Train (see last post), Paw had the great idea of visiting the Tennessee Aquarium.....I mean, it was right there, so why not??? I'm so glad that we made this unexpected trip because it was a lot of fun!! The kids LOVED getting to touch the stingrays and sharks:
Daddy is teaching Clairy how to use "two fingers" :)
Clairy was going on about how "shlimy" the stingray was :)
Nora found a "shlimy" friend:
Even Paw felt the "shlimy" critters:
Next up, we visited the butterfly cove:
FOUND ONE!!
Huntin' for more butterflies:
Checking out the sweet penguins. They were so neato.
More giant turtles and fish:
(Paw attempted to take a selfie with the glowing jellyfish......#epicfail)
More babes and fishies:
Aren't they lovely??
Josh and the kiddies taking a break to gaze at the fish:
Wait, WHAT?!?! They are ALL 5 smiling for a picture simultaneously?!?!?! It's a miracle:
A few more sites to see:
Nice photo-"bum," Daddy:
One of the highlights of the trip: Clairy saw this stingray and said, "Aw. Poor guy. He squished." I love the way baby brains think :)
Daddy cannot go ANYWHERE without having a daughter tied to his legs.
We had to pry her away with a sucker....and turtles.
This is what happens when we beg them all to smile for one more picture together. Right.
We finished the night with some Mellow Mushroom Pizza.....
.....and a whole lotta love :)
Some of the best advice I learned came from a fish ~ "Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming."
Cheers to fish.....even the "shlimy" and "squished" ones!!
