Spring Dance Recital!!

 A few weeks ago, Nora and Ella had their Spring Dance Recital entitled "Express Yourself." While we are always so extremely proud of Nora in her dance (it's her THANG), we were also over-the-moon with Ella!!! Everyone knows what a bashful little beauty Ella is, and it has been very difficult for her to perform in the past. However, my baby TURNED IT OUT, and shook her little groove-thang like there was no tomorrow!!! So proud of BOTH of my little dancing divas!!

We started with Nora's jazz performance (to the tune of "Single Ladies" and Katy Perry's "Firework"). Nora was front-and-center in each of her performances.....she just has the God-given talent to "shake it".....her mama can shake it, too......when necessary!! :)

Those hips were MOVVVVVING!!!!! :)

 "Baby, you're a firework!!!" 

".....come on, let your colors burst!!"

 "Boom, boom, boom.....even brighter than the moon, moon, moon!" 

 Next up, was Ella's tap performance to the tune of "Boogie Shoes." We were all so nervous for her.....she showed us WHO'S BOSS!! 

 "I wanna put on.....my, my, my, my, my Boogie Shoes....." 

 "....just boogie with YOU!!!" 

 Front-and-center again.....my head was very big!!

 Next up, Nora's ballet performance to the tune of Frozen's "Let it Go." Could it get any better than THAT?!?!

 Next up, Ella's ballet performance of "Me and My Teddy Bear." She got to dance with her beloved Build-a-Bear, "Hearta." :)

 Next up, Nora's tap performance to the tune of "Personality." 

 There was definitely "personality" all over the place!! :) 

 For the "grand finale," all of the dancers came out together with their lights to perform "This Little Light of Mine." (Nora and Ella are both to the left) :)

 So grateful for these wonderful teachers and their patience and diligence. They have TRULY helped my babies to SHINE in more ways than one!! :)

What can I say?? I'm so very PROUD of my dancing darlings, and I'm not ashamed to say it!! They are truly amazing, and got the sincere compliments of perfect strangers after the performance!! My heart is beyond full.

And as for you, my dancing darlings, "Give the Heavens above more than just a passing glance, and when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.....

.....I hope you dance."
