Beach Fun!!!

Well, we haven't been on a family beach trip this summer (YET.....hoping to squeeze one in next week). But thankfully, our neighborhood has a groovy little lake-beach that helps us to get our "sand-n-sun fixes!!" If you give Claira a ball and grease her up with a gallon of sunscreen, she'll be good-to-go for hours!! :)

 Meanwhile, Ella makes dynamite sandcastles (while Nora swims in the lake). ALL.DAY.LONG.

 But we eventually all get in the water and enviously watch all the boaters and skiers go by (next on the to-do list?? Be BOAT-OWNERS!!!)

 The beach is also a lot of fun at night. Can you spot the full moon??

 Every few weeks, the beach will air a family movie. They recently played "Megamind" which is Ella's all-time FAVORITE!! She was so excited!!!

 Of course, they had to play in the sand a bit before the big show started.....

 .....and grub on some coke and popcorn....

 .....and finally, it was SHOW-TIME!!!

 Megamind is one the cutest movies ever starring Will Ferrell and my boyfriend, Brad Pitt. We quote that movie on a daily basis with quotes such as: "Oh, my giant, blue head!!!" ~or~ "The plan mostly involves.....not dying." :) :) :)
