Halloween '16!!!!!

Well, we have yet another Halloween for the books!! And goodness gracious, wasn't it JUST Halloween like last week?? This year is flying by in the blink of an eye!!

As usual, we kicked off our Halloween celebration by carving pumpkins:
Be jealous of Ella's bun. #frofordays
Claira had her own little red pumpkin that she decorated for a school project (blog to come). She kept telling me, "This marker is too fat for me to draw!" Oh well, he still turned out pretty cute, even if she couldn't draw with her "fat" marker.
She even signed her name with her "fat" marker so "no one would touch it" (accept Daddy, of course).
The big girls created a "pirate pumpkin." Daddy was thrilled to carve that one!!
Setting up the carving station:
And they're off!!
Annual Puke Picture:
So proud of her "guts!!"
And, so proud of their final products:
The next day was the BIG day.....HALLOWEEN!!! Halloween fell on a Monday this year (lame), but we were still excited as ever. We all headed over to Grandmama's after school to let Lea do  Ella's make-up:
The finished product: The beautiful little Sugar Skull:
Meanwhile, I did Nora's makeup. Not too shabby, if I do say so myself. But it was bittersweet....it was the first year she wanted to be something "gross and scary" instead of something "sweet and cute." I present to you my little ZOMBIE:
And last but not least, my little Wonder Woman.....she's been begging to be Wonder Woman since April.
Our 3 Characters:
"Granny Witch" with her 3 girls:
The Queen Bee and her keeper:
Us:
My best frands:
Lea and Brett were Daphne and Shaggy!! #scoobydoo
As always, we headed over the Grandmommie's & PawPaw's to trick-or-treat since they have the best Halloween neighborhood on the face of the planet. And one of the best parts is that they always get to see their favorite teacher, Sra. Edwards.
Getting ready:
Grandmama and Grandmommie:
Poor little Matthew and Anna were sick on Halloween night (we missed them!), but we were glad that Lilah still came and joined the Halloween fun. Of course, Lea had to work her mad makeup skills on her, too!!
MINNIE MOUSE!!!
The "kids." (Please note that EVERY picture Nora took, she was in full zombie mode).
Grandmommie always provides the kids with goodie-bags, and this year, they had their very own slime. Thanks, Grandmommie. That's been a lot of fun this week. If Claira calls it "her snot" one more time......
And we're off!!
Claira's holding two bags. One for herself, and one for her best buddy, Matthew. :)
Favorite picture of the night.....
Photobombed the neighbors!!!
Turned out to be a BEAUTIFUL night!!!
Still in zombie mode.....
We hit up every house we could, but you know it's time to go when Wonder Woman loses all her mojo:
And there you have it!! Another successful Halloween to remember!! We missed Matthew and the fam, but the girls made sure he got PLENTY of candy!!

Cheers to tricks and treats!!
