"Snow" Days '15

Well, we didn't get to build Olaf this year! Although we've had 3 "snow days" this month that have kept us out of school, none of them have involved SNOW (nothing like the SnowJam of last year - see that here). Still we enjoyed the 3.5 minutes of snowfall that we did get to see this past Wednesday. Even though my kids had been in their PJs all day long, this might be one of my favorite pictures ever:
After that 3-minute snowfall, it was just a bunch of gross SLOSH. Still, we were grateful that we got to miss a couple of days of work and school and curl up by the fire.
The animals curled up, too....ON MY COUCH!! Oh well, I'd rather have them there than out in the cold.
The girls played dress-up for 48 hours....LITERALLY. (side note - Nora is in Aunt Grandmother's gown here - her favorite of all time) :)
And why we're all dressed up, why not perform a music recital for the animals? Clairy and Nora are serenading Gato with "Do You Wanna Build a Snowman?" while Ella plays the piano. It was lovely. They should tour.
Soooo, while our Snow Days weren't filled with an abundance of snow, we had a lot of fun hanging indoors with the kiddos and animals. I would like to give an extra cheers to our Gato - he was attacked by something last week and couldn't walk for a few days. We thought he might not make it. But apparently, he still has 6-7 lives left because he is now as good as new!! I guess I really do love the little idiot.

Cheers to "Snow" Days.....without actual snow.... :)

Bring on the SPRING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
