We had another fabulous Halloween!! This year, we had planned for the girls to be the characters from Frozen (their favorite movie EVER). Let's just say this wasn't the most original costume this year. Everybody and their brothers seemed to be the Frozen peeps!! While Nora was thrilled to be Elsa, and Ella ecstatic to be Anna, Claira was absolutely petrified of her Olaf costume. She wouldn't go near it, and kept telling me to "fwo it in da twash." Yet, she sports crazy attire all day long.....I just don't get it. Here she is during our pumpkin carving:

Clairy lost interest pretty quickly. She thought that dangling off the porch would be much more fun.
Gato didn't understand why we wouldn't let him eat the pumpkin remnants. He always looks at us like he is just disgusted with us. The feeling is mutual, bud.

Finally, the big night came, and I was still desperate for Claira to be Olaf (you know how I am with themes). Since she wouldn't touch her costume, I made her an Olaf shirt, and of course, she hated it.
So finally, I just made her this shirt, and she LOVED IT. When I showed it to her, she smiled and said, "I yike it." :)
So.....I give you Anna, Elsa, and little rebel with a witch hat.

The first stop we made was at Christopher's house to see my sweet Senora.

Despite her costume fickleness, we were so proud of our little Clairy. She "twicker tweeted" like a little pro. Time needs to slow down just a bit.
We left it to Lea and Uncle Matt ("the jock") to haul the kids up the giant hills. Matthew held out his little hands like he was king of the world. So hilarious!!

Sadly, it starting raining.....POURING....on us when we were on the other side of the neighborhood. We made a run for it, and Paw came to save us in his new superhero truck. But still, the damage had been done. Exhibit A:
Regardless, the rain made it very memorable, and we still got a ton of candy!! All that candy and rain had the kids looking like this within 4 minutes of riding home:
