Festive in '15!!

It's time!! It's time!! Trim up the tree!! It may be mid-November, but we've already had our fair share of FESTIVE around these parts!! As always, Grandmama and Lea came over a few weeks ago to help us put up our dilapidated Griswald tree (yes, Ella's in her panties....she works best without pants):
For my birthday this year, Grandmama gave me a new elf-tree-topper....isn't he just the cutest thing ever?!?!
Since we rearranged our living room recently (first time in 10 years.....don't judge), we were able to use a corner that we have never been able to use before. Perfect spot!!
Photobomb.
A little Christmas wrestle....
Yes, that's Pee-Wee Herman's Christmas Special on TV!! I know you are, but what am I??
Loving the lights at night. It's one of my favorite things in the world!!
A little later on in the week, I decided it was time for the girls to learn to wrap (you know, so I can put them to WERK this year!!) Thanks to Pinterest, I found this cute idea: Wrapping all of your Christmas books, and each night, open one to read together. :)
Henry was upset that he couldn't help. He doesn't have thumbs.
Pausing for Pizza!! Half of the books are wrapped!!
Photobomb. Different culprit.
Daddy can't do anything without a little monkey on his back.
Last weekend, we headed over to the "Whoville" at Bright Star Methodist Church:
The big girls were SO READY to visit with Santa:
Clairy?? Not so much!!
She felt better when she got to make her own cookie, though:
They took their cookies and hot chocolate and listened to a story by Mrs. Claus.
Claira wouldn't go near Mrs. Claus either. She was just DONE with these Claus people!!
She made some reindeer food instead :)
The highlight of visiting Whoville was getting our "Who-Hair" done!!
Ella and her pal, Kaylee, getting their "hair did" together!! #girltalk
Ella's sylist was Mr. Plumley (aka "Vidal Sass-whooon")
Waiting patiently at the hair salon.... :)
The poor stylists didn't know what hit 'em with all these curls.....
Nora's all done!!
Ella's almost finished!!
That look....
WALAAAAAA!!!!
Now that their Who-Hair is perfected, we had to make a trip to the "post office" to get some new "Who-Names." Ella May Who, Nora Ray Who, and Claira Dru Who :)
Now, to write some wish-lists for Santa, and some love-notes to our soldiers....
We finished up our trip to WhoVille by making some Grinch ornaments. Cutest things ever!!!
So very BLESSED and extremely proud of my little Who's!!!
I'll leave you with this: Our "WhoVille High" came crashing down the following day when we had to take Claira to the ER. She got a full cartwheel-kick to the mouth (accidentally, of course, by Nora who felt absolutely terrible and cried for hours), and bit completely through her lip!! Aagghhh!! BUT, GOD IS GOOD, and her war sweet lips required NO stitches!!!
Now, each girl has officially had one trip to the ER....that's enough for a while!!! So grateful that almost one week later, my sweet baby is almost as good as new!!

Cheers to Who's and Busted Boo-Boos!!
