Bob's 7th Birthday!!

How can it be?? My Ella is SEVEN!!! She has given us seven years of WONDERFUL!! She has always had a precious heart and a beautiful mind, and she never fails to impress or amaze us a little more with every passing year.

To celebrate our big birthday girl, we took some of her friends to a movie after school. But of course, we had to begin with a pizza picnic :)
Opening presents from her sweet friends:
Movie Madness!!!
Ready to see Zootopia in 3D!! We took up the whole row!!!
Ice cream after the show!!! Blizzards all around!!
She requested a mood ring AND a mood bracelet from mommy and daddy.
A few days later, Grandmommie picked Ella up from school to have a little one-on-one time with the birthday girl. They had a Mexican lunch....
....then headed over to Local Color to have some artsy fun!! Ella's favorite thing ever!!

On her ACTUAL birthday, I surprised her during lunch....
....and we passed out ice-cream sandwiches to all of her classmates!!
After school, she got to go to a cooking class with many of her friends and big sis!! They learned how to make cookies from scratch!! Next week, they're making pizza, cookie cake, and chicken!! Get to work, kids!! :)
After a week of celebrations with family and friends (though, she is still requesting a big birthday dinner with her Paw-Paw and cousins at the Golden Corral....HA!!), we came home to an ice cream cake with just us. Yes, her cake says, "Happy Birthday Bobby!" :)
Make a wish!!!

Ella ~ I can never tell you how much I love you, how proud I am of you, how your soul is the most beautiful thing on the planet. Keep on shining, baby. "I love you more than more."

Cheers to you, Bob!!

Easter '16!!

We had an amazing Easter this year (and we hope you did, too)!! While we had big plans to go on many egg hunts, the rain jacked up our plans. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME!!

Oh, well. We were able, however, to make and decorate some dynamite Easter Bunny cookies!! We invited our neighbor, Jaden, over to come and help:
We were also able to dye eggs - our annual tradition!!
Claira really got into it this year!!
She's also been working on her winking skills ;)
 The eggs of many colors!!
GB working on his Superman Egg:
Superman Success!!
Nora called this one the "Vom Egg" :) HA!!
Henry had to get in on the egg-dying action:
Some of our final products - WALA!! Little egg people.
Easter morning, we got up bright and early to see what the Easter Bunny left us!!
Super stoked about our new fishing worms!!
And our bubbles!!
After breakfast, we got ready for church to worship our RISEN Savior!!!!
After church, we headed over to Grandmommie's and Paw's to have a yummy Easter lunch:
Eating blueberries, her fav.
Watching The Bible Story:
All the boys in blue (+ an orange popi) :)
My ladies:

Clairy was so DONE with the Easter pictures.....
....like, so done.

Lea & Ryan :)
Taking selfies.
Causing trouble...
.....a whole 'lotta trouble!! #attackofthesisters
Since we never could have an Easter egg hunt due to the lame weather, we decided to have one indoors!! If you look closely, you can see Uncle Matt trapping the kids so they can't come out :) We like to indirectly taunt them, at times :)
But after a few seconds, they broke free!!! A'hunting they will go!!
Checking out the Easter loot!!
Candy and "punching balloons" all around!!
Daddy blew the balloon so hard that he popped another "Easter surprise." His poor pants.

In all seriousness, it was a dreary, but BEAUTIFUL Easter!!! "Just as Christ was from the dead by the glory of the father, we too might walk in newness of life" ~ Romans 6:4

Cheers! Happy Easter from our family to your's!! May we all walk in the newness of LIFE!!
