Winter Break - 2016 Comes to a Close!

2016 came to a fun close this year!! As always, we were all on vacation for the last week of the year, so we tried to enjoy every single minute:

Movies

We checked out several movies, including the new Star Wars which Josh and Claira were SOOOOO excited about - check out his ridiculous slushie. I wish I would've gotten a picture of Claira - she wore a Darth Vader hoodie and sported it PROUDLY.

We also got to watch "Sing" in our sweatpants - such a cute little movie:

Parks

The weather was Spring-like during winter break (still is - Global Warming for ya). So, we tried to get outside as much as possible.

Even the poor ladybugs were confused - they had no idea it was December!

Claira was so excited about her new "hand-me-down" bike!!

Children's Museum of Atlanta

The Children's Museum was having a "Magic Tree House" exhibit. Josh has read almost EVERY treehouse book to the girls, so we couldn't pass up seeing "Jack and Annie."

Checking out the science exhibits. Nora is such a little science nerd - I honestly don't know where she gets it. It's my least-favorite subject. Ever.

We had to make a trip to Mary Mac's before heading back home. Ever had the fried green tomatoes?? They will change 'yo life!!

Six Flags

We had to get in ONE MORE trip to Six Flags before the season was over. Claira remembered that there is a Wonder Woman ride, so she demanded to wear her Wonder Woman costume. Cause ya know, she is the real Wonder Woman. #pickyourbattles

I got to ride a few rides with my Bobby while Daddy took the other 2 to ride roller coasters. 

Daddy and I enjoy the kiddie rides, too!!

A Night in Atlanta

Daddy and I made a trip to Atlanta to enjoy a night painting the town. I tell you what, he's such a stud, but he is NOT a fan of these glass elevators.

Atlanta weather is so unstable. Goes from 80 to -2. Of course, this night it was -2.

We braved the cold to check out the Lantern Festival. One of the coolest things ever!!!

Happy 2017!!

And there you have it!! 2016 was such a wonderful year for our family, and we anticipate great things for 2017. Daddy got some new wheels to bring in the new year. Can't think of anyone more deserving:
