Christmas Recitals '16

Man, oh man, have we had some amazing Christmas recitals this season!! We kicked the season off with a piano recital. This was Ella's and Lilah's very first piano recital, and all 3 girls did a beautiful job. Here they are before the recital with two of our pals, Evan and Jonathan:)

Lilah was first up in our trio. She performed a beautiful rendition of "Angels We Have Heard on High."

Next up, Ella performed "Jingle Bells" :)

Nora finished our trio with a performance of "Silent Night" :)

The following weekend, we had a Christmas dance recital. Grandmothers make the best fans:

Later in the week, Nora and the chorus performed at the Douglas County Courthouse. So grateful that I got to chaperone, and that Grandmama met us there to see it in action:

Guess who opened the entire show?? Miss Ella Christine Nesbitt with her piano rendition of Jingle Bells. It was PERFECTION!!

I'll end with this: This is one of the most special ladies on the planet, Ms. Janice, that I've had the pleasure of working with for over a decade. A few months back, Janice got very sick. I visited her in the hospital, and left with tears believing that it would be the last time I would see her. But, God had other plans for her, and I'm so grateful He did!! While she can no longer work with us, her presence is one of the greatest presents this Christmas. She made sure she made it to see her babies perform at Beulah Baptist!!

Ms. Janice. Such a woman of grace, and a living testimony of goodness and faith.
