Nora told me yesterday, "Mama, Santa comes a week from today!!!" Holy cow.....SHE'S RIGHT!!! Needless to say, we have some very excited girls around this house.....as in, I wish I could give them a sedative most nights. THEY ARE SO EXCITED. SOOOOO EXCITED.
We've been getting ready for the fat man to come down our chimney this month. A few weeks ago, we geared up to go look at some neighborhood Christmas lights, but then noticed the moon was amazing!! So, we decided to just enjoy it instead....God's natural decoration. :)
If you live in Georgia, you know that December weather is crazy. Something like this:
That being said, Daddy makes sure we have some firewood ready.....
.....Meanwhile, the girls play in t-shirts and flipflops.
As for Claira, she prefers a onesie, war-paint, a camera, and a fishing pole.
And tattoos, of course.
"Daddy needs knee-tattoos."
(very random picture. just a boy and his dog.)
We also put our Christmas train together. A Christmas favorite!!
Daddy had a few "technical difficulties."
Finally, a train SUCCESS!! I love to watch their little faces while they watch the train. They could watch it for hours!! :)
We've tried to catch up on all of our Christmas movies - here's "Christmas Vacation." It's just not Christmas without Clark Griswald.
We also built a gingerbread village. Another holiday favorite!!
Henry was begging someone to drop a gumdrop.
Claira would generally put a piece of candy on her house for about 2.5 seconds, then put it right in her mouth.
Caught Nora in the act!!
This was Daddy's attempt at a "family photo." Great job.
Village complete!!!
Ella saved some of her house for Jo-Jo, our elf. He's been eating a little bit every night. So sweet :)
Cheers!! May your days be merry and bright!!
