We've had a lot of Fall Fun going on at Beulah Elementary!! Check out what we've been getting into:
Beulah Braves Night
We recently had our annual "Beulah Braves Night" at Turner Field. Grandmommie & Paw came along, and we tailgated before the game. Lucky for us, it was "Zombie Night," so we got to see many of the fans, and even the players, dressed up as zombies!!
Selfies!!
A section full of Beulah Bees = TROUBLE!!
These crazy kids.... ;)
Clairy cried when we left because she didn't want to leave. Braves fan in the making!!
Hispanic Heritage Festival
To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we had a fabulous festival!! Beulah is such a little "melting pot" of kids from literally all over the world, and it is always so beautiful to see our multi-cultural, bilingual babies love and appreciate the differences within each other. If society had the spirit and mentality of these kids, what a wonderful world it would be!!
Getting ready!!! The teacher-kids always get put to work, but they get first dibs on the games!! :)
We love Mrs. White!!
Craft-making!!!
Shaking her maraca!!
BEST.FOOD.IN.THE.WORLD!!!!!!! Oh my. Tamale Paradise!!
The mariachi band performed for us while we ate:
Dancing with Dr. Cosper :) Heyyyyyyy, macarena!!
We ended the night with sweet performances by our kiddos (in multiple languages, of course!)
Family Luncheons
We've had some family luncheons recently:
Grandparents' Day
And Dining with Dad
50's Day Sock-Hop!!
On the 50th day of school, we dressed in our best 50's attire and celebrated with a sock hop!!
Yeah, I don't think they nae-nae'd in the 50's!! :)
Book Character Day!!
The day before Halloween, we dressed up as our favorite book characters. Nora was Little Red Riding Hood, and Ella was Elsa:
I wish I could post pictures of my whole class.....they were the most precious things ever. But, I'll just post a picture of their precious teachers....we were "The Bumbles!!"
Veteran's Day Breakfast
This past Wednesday was Veteran's Day, and Nora was asked to sing a solo of the Star Spangled Banner to salute our guests of honor. To say that I was proud of her is a severe understatement. Have a little listen:
Thank you to Mrs. Escobar and Mrs. Chaij for giving her this opportunity....it's one that we'll NEVER forget!!
It's another fun year at the hive!! Blessed beyond measure to be a Beulah Bee, as both an educator and a mommy!!
Bzzzzzzz......
