This Easter was BUSY, BUSY, BUSY, but such a fun blessing!! As you saw a few posts ago, we spent the night at Stone Mountain on Easter-Eve so that we could celebrate Ella's birthday. Can you believe that Easter Bunny found us at Stone Mountain?!?! He snuck in our hotel and left their Easter baskets by the door. :)
Such sleepy heads!! We had to wake up at 6:00 am so that we could attend the Easter Sunrise Service at the mountain.
Stone Mountain Sunrise Service
Bundling up to head out to the mountain!!!
Sadly, the Skybuckets were closed due to high winds, and you couldn't pay us enough money to CLIMB the mountain when it was that cold and that early.
Fortunately, they were having another service at the bottom of the mountain, we walked over there instead. Just look at that full moon!!
Such a beautiful sight, even before the sun came up!!
The service was beautiful!!
Claira needed a little caffeine to get her through the service, so Grandmommie and Ella helped her out. :)
After the service, we headed back to the hotel to put on our Easter dresses:
Claira's new thing is to lift her leg like a ninja for pictures. Don't know what's up with that.
Claira had to get a picture with "Baby Jaguar" - I know I've mentioned him in a blog before, but he was the very first stuffed animal that I received from Grandmommie when I was pregnant with Nora. He has been a favorite with all the girls. I will have to have him bronzed or shadow-boxed when the girls get older :)
Heading out to explore a bit more of Stone Mountain before we leave!!
Antebellum Plantation at Stone Mountain
Before leaving the park, we headed over the the Antebellum Plantation. It was so NEAT and beautiful. Of course, you-know-who fell asleep on the way over there. She sleeps perfectly in Daddy's arms!! :)
The girls LOVED the old houses!
Daddy needed a break - that child gets HEAVY!!!!
Photo-op....with sleeping baby.
The doctor's cabin....that's right ;)
The big goobers are attempting a "hard cowboy pose."
We finally had to pan the heavy, sleeping child off on Grandmommie. Goodness. She will break your back!!
More fun houses!!
CLAIRA FINALLY WOKE UP for a little barn fun! :)
Checking out the petting zoo:
Grandmommie and her girls in the garden.....
.....and Clairy lifting that leg again.
We finally made it to the main house!! So lovely!!
A few more photos around the yard before heading out:
The old school marm in the old school house :)
You better raise your hand!!
Fun at Grandma's!!
After leaving Stone Mountain, we headed over to Grandma's for Easter dinner and for our annual Easter Egg Hunt :)
Josh, Olivia, and I hid all of the bajillion eggs, so Josh needed to take a break. On a toilet. He's so not right.
The calm before the storm.....
They released the maniacs!!
They did goooooooood!!! :)
The newest little nugget....Baby Hunter :)
Before we left, they needed just a little more play time.....
....and some lovin' from Grandma!!
STINK EYES!!
She loves her Paw so much. He's kinda her favorite :)
Easter Photos with Grandmama
Before heading home, we stopped by Grandmama's to get a few pictures in the field. Love all my ladies :)
There's that leg again!!

Our Sea of Estrogen :)
Needless to say, Easter was a very busy, yet VERY FUN day filled with family and blessings!! So grateful for these memories, and for the Living Savior that has provided it all!!
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have PEACE. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world!" ~ John 16:33
Cheers to the Risen and Living Savior!! Happy Easter!
