World of Coke!!

Since both grandmothers (Grandmama and Grandmommie) have Coca~Cola addictions, they have been saving me coke labels for a while. I have been using their "addictions" to save up some coke points!!! This weekend, I had so many coke points that we were able to visit the World of Coke for FREE!! Needless to say, we are grateful for the caffeine addictions of our "grands!!" :)

Like she is with all things in life, Ella was super-excited!! She's all about "the experience." :)
With the exception of only 2 countries, coke is consumed all over the world......so, cheers to the millions of faces of coke, including my own kids!! :)
Many groovy things to be seen in the first display room:
Watching the Polar Bear movie....the girls LOVED it!!
They also loved all the swell museum exhibits....
Of course, we had to stop a few times to tie shoes. :)
Clairy was extremely proud of her high-top converse kicks:
We watched the 4-D movie that reveals the "secret formula" to coke.....
Clairy is thinking, "Forget the movie....I'll just SWANG on this pole!!!"
We got to check out the Coke Bear. The girls thought he was even neater than the Disney characters because he actually talks and blinks!!
Clairy couldn't get enough of the bear....
Here she is breaking her neck to see the "be-yah" while I try to get a decent picture......
Finally, we got to sample cokes from all over the world!! There's over a hundred to try!! Our favorites were from Africa!!
When we exited, we got to pick out our own glass bottle of coke (that the girls drank as soon as we got into the van.......WIRED!!). I don't know why coke tastes better to me in the glass bottles. :)
It was such a beautiful day with beautiful company....
Cheers to Coke!!
Or Cheers WITH a Coke!! :)

Nora's Fieldtrip to the Aquarium!!

I was very fortunate to be able to attend Nora's very first elementary fieldtrip with her last week!! The first grade classes traveled over to the Georgia Aquarium which was such a fun time with 80ish 6- and 7-year-olds!! They were extremely excited, and I don't blame them.....it was awesome!! Check out our fun times:
Many of the kids were just thrilled because it was their first time riding a bus!!! :)
When we arrived, we had our lunch first. Nora chose to sit next to Terrance and Coach Bowen, of course. :)
 PALS!!!
Then, we were off to explore!! First off, we touched the stingrays and sharks.
We got to see all 5 main portions (except for the Dolphins due to time).....the kids were truly amazed by all the neato critters!!
The albino crocodile was really cool:
One of the kids' favorites was the otters.....they were so playful and funny:
They also loved all of the colorful creatures of the ocean!!
Beluga Whales are always my absolutely FAV!! I need one of these for myself. So peaceful to watch:
Here's Nora answering another question about the Belugas :)
 Groovy starfish:
Nora answering another question about the penguins. I'm so glad she pays attention even when she acts like she isn't (which is often) :)
The awesome tunnel. I've heard you can book "slumber parties" in this tunnel....How cool!!

 Snorkeler!!!!
Such a swell time with creatures and kiddos!!!
Our first elementary field trip was a HUGE success, and I'm so glad to got to experience this with my girl.

Cheers to fish and first-graders!!!!
